- User-generated content
- Precise location
Data collected automatically:
- Usage data and crash reports (via Android system, anonymized)
- Device type and OS version (for compatibility)
- Ad interaction data collected by Google AdMob (see Section 3)

- To display the App's content and features
- To improve app performance and fix technical issues
- To serve relevant advertisements through Google AdMob

3 Advertising — Google AdMob
World Cup Hub 2026 uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
AdMob may collect:
- Advertising ID (resettable device identifier)
- IP address (to infer approximate location)
- App usage and interaction data
- Device information (model, OS version, screen size)

- openfootball (GitHub) — Public match schedule JSON, no personal data
- FlagCDN — Flag images via CDN, no personal data
- RestCountries API — Public country data, no personal data
- Wikimedia REST API — Public encyclopedia data, no personal data
5 Data Storage & Security
Core app data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers — because we do not operate any servers.
The app works fully offline; network requests are only made to fetch live content from public APIs.
Any data fetched from public APIs is cached in device memory only and cleared when the app closes.
6 Children's Privacy
World Cup Hub 2026 is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe this has occurred and we will delete such information promptly.
7 Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of data we hold
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data
- Opt-out: Disable personalized ads via device settings
- Reset Ad ID: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset Advertising ID
8 Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are reflected by updating the "Effective" date above. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
